Summer is just around the corner so it is ready to be thinking of those cute little strappy sandals you have hidden in your closet. But you can not put on those sandals without a little work on those feet that have been crammed into hot socks and shoes all winter long. Pamper those tootsies and get ready for those feet to be shown.
Begin by using a pumice stone on your feet in the shower. I suggest doing this every time you shower to get the most benefit from it. Make sure to get the heels very well as this is where the dead skin tends to build up.
Another good thing to try is a good exfoliating scrub. Avon has some wonderful ones out now. One smells like watermelon and another has the scent of coconut. I must say they both smell awesome. Just rub it in well and massage for a minute. Then rinse well.
After this step, you can dry your feet well and then apply a lotion. Once again Avon has some good ones to try. They have watermelon and coconut ones to match the exfoliating scrubs above. Massage into feet. After I do this I do apply a pair of socks so the lotion can do a great job at softening the feet.
After doing the above steps for a week your feet will be soft and ready for sandals. Yeah summer is here!

A Face Saver
I am a huge fan of Avon's Dramatic Firming Cream. This cream is wonderful on my skin. It is absorbed quickly into my skin and does not clog my pores either. I have extremely oily skin and it does not make it oilier either. I can tell a difference just in the two weeks that I have been using it. My face feels tighter, like my skin is being pulled up so it does not sag. My complexion is also a bit brighter since using it as well. It has made a huge improvement in my life. I wonder what my skin will look like after using a whole jar of this miracle cream? If my skin is looking this good now then it will for sure look even better in two weeks.
Fall is here
Fall is here and that makes me both happy and sad. I love the fact that it is getting cooler out and the leaves are changing colors. And the crisp air is a nice change from the hot sticky sun. I love to hear the crunching of leaves under my feet, and the wind blowing around the leaves that are trying to escape the rake.
Halloween is comig as well, and it is delightful to see all the kids in their costumes dressed up. I love seeing the trends from year to year, and see who can come up with the most original costume.
But with the fall comes the fact that winter will soon be around the corner and to this I dread that. I hate winter so much. If only Fall could last through winter and then just skip into Spring that would be fine with me!

Healing after surgery
Surgery is not a picnic to endure. But if you must have surgery, then you will most likely want to recover fast. A speedy recovery is often in your hands . Here is what you can do to recover fast.
First off listen to your doctor. If he tells you that you may not or can not do something, then do not do it. You may know your body, but he knows more about the outcomes of surgery than you do.
Get plenty of rest. Rest helps you recooperate and makes you feel better. It is the first thing that you need to do. DO not feel guilty about laying around. Use this time to catch up on your reading or watch the movies you have been meaning to watch.
When you are all rested up, get up and get moving. Walking is a great way to recover because it gets your blood moving which just makes you feel better. Take it slow at first and move a few extra steps each time you get up to walk.
Load up on plenty of water to flush toxins out of your body. YOu will just feel better about yourself if you drink up so you are not dehydrated.
See the doctor again when you are suppose to. Do not break appointments even if you are feeling better. He needs to see you and will be glad at how well you have progressed.

Uses for Peroxide
Did you know that peroxide has many great uses? It use to just be thought of as a way to clean out cuts so they do not get infected. But if you have a bottle of hydrogen peroxide laying around the house you can do so much with it. Here are some ways to utilize that little brown bottle.
1. Use peroxide to get rid of canker sores. Place a small amount in your mouth and hold for a minute or so. Spit out and rinse with warm water. Do this a few times a day until the sore is gone. You will feel relief as soon as you do the first treatment.
2. Sanitize your toothbrush with it. Fill a Dixie cup with enough peroixde to cover your toothbrush and leave it sit for about 15 minutes. Pour out the used peroxide and rinse your toothbrush out.
3. Mix baking soda with hydrogen peroxide and brush your teeth with it. You can feel the oxygen bubbles really working and your teeth will get very white doing this.
4. Pour some baking soda down a drain and then add some hydrogen peroxide to it. It will bubble up and clean the drain at the same time, leaving the drain smelling fresher.
5. Get rid of mold and mildew with peroxide. Fill a spray bottle with the peroxide and then spray away. It will safely get rid of mold and mildew without harming the wall.
6. Use peroxide to sanitize the litter box. Empty out the litter box and clean with a mild soap. Rinse well and then apply the hydrogen peroxide and let sit for about an hour. Drain and let dry then refill the litter box with fresh litter.
7. Get rid of urine smells with hydrogen peroxide. Blot the urine out of the carpet and then apply 3 percent hydrogen peroxide. Let it sit for several minutes, then saturate again, adding some baking soda to it. It will bubble and foam up. Allow it to dry until there is just a gritty baking soda left, then vacuum it up. Odors will be gone.
8. Soak your tired feet in the peroxide mixed with warm water. Your feet will come out feeling great and feeling great.
9. Wipe down your counters with peroxide that has been mixed with water. It has the same effects as bleach but is much healthier to breathe in .
10. Remove toxins from fruits and veggies with hydrogen peroxide. Fill the sink with cold water and then add a small amount of it to the water. Soak veggies and fruit and the toxins will come off.
Using hydrogen peroxide is much safer and healthier than using many products on the market today. If you use it to clean your carpets, please test a small area first. It only costs about 50 cents for a bottle and a bottle goes a long way.
